My car has a removed lower honeycomb in the 1g mas, however, i have an SAFC2 with stock fuel system. What should my base correction be to avoid running lean, or should i just set it all to 0% and let the ECU tune it?

Ive noticed that the fuel trims are always very high like 139%, and if i richem it up to ~15% then it will go to 100% fuel trim but be spitting fuel. Is this normal?

Well, I can't answer your question, although I sure can say I have about the same problem. I'm new to tuning, finally have all my parts installed and am ready to go though. I too have fuel trims around 139. How exactly is it recommeded to tune a AFC? I've read some posts that say tune for .96v at the O2. Others that say tune for the timing advance... Does anyone have some good real advice on how to start tuning a afc?

I'm trying to search on this, but not finding anything definative.

That's exactly what I was looking for. I believe that page answers my question, and the thread posters question... It's just a matter of time for the 1g ECU to compensate for us correcting the fuel map I guess...
