2g mas with honeycombs removed...

This may be a stupid question but since I'm a newbie I don't know. If the honeycombs in a 2g mas were removed, is the mas garbage or can it still be used in conjunction with a SAFC?

If all the honeycombs are gone ...yes it is garbage. If you have the bottom and sides gone you can still use it, you will just have really compensate for it with the AFC settings. A hacked MAF is a lean MAF so you will have to richen up your settings a lot.

You can remove a couple specific ones, but you have to really know what you're doing.

Put them in or dont bother with the MAS at all. You'll hate the car without them.

the 2g mas is not a restriction as many people think it is, dont mess with it, its there for a reason
