AEM Fuel Rail

A Stock fuel rail can dangerously lean out the cylinders causing the
motor to fail when running higher boost. After building a race motor
it was time for me to upgrade my stock rail to a AEM rail. There are
many reasons why I upgraded my old DSM stock fuel rail to a new AEM unit.
It did not only look great in my engine bay but its a must when
running high boost and I've seen it support cars up to 1,000 HP. It
dramatically increases fuel flow with a 1/2-inch fuel bore and its
designed to be a perfect fitment for your DSM with no additional parts
needed. The AEM fuel rail is made to bolt on to the head for easy
fitment and is designed to be used with the stock fuel pressure
regulator and stock fuel lines. The AEM rail can also be used with
-6AN fuel lines and works perfect with my AEM adjustable fuel pressure
regulator (Part# 25-390 required for -6AN lines). The AEM unit even
has a 1/8th NPT fitment on the top of the rail where I placed a
aftermarket fuel pressure gauge for perfect fuel pressure reading. The
AEM rail kit also comes with installation instructions, fittings,
hardware and the o-rings for the injecters. A very important part when
going with a AEM rail is the install of the o-rings. This is a common
reason for fuel leaks when installing the fuel rail.
I made sure I replaced every o-ring when adding the -AN fittings. I
installed both o-rings in to the rail body and not on to the AN fittings.
First I put the o-rings in to the far grove of the rail body, then
pushed the second o-ring against the shoulder of the rail. Then I made
sure it was clear of the dowel pin groove. The AEM fuel rails also come in 3 anodized colours to match your engine bay. Red, blue and silver fuel rails are also CNC machined using 6061-T6 billet aluminum for durablate and also includes the AEM logo on the rail. Upgrading my fuel system was a MUST for my race car and there is nothing like having AEM fuel parts to take care of that. ith great customer service, tech support and reliable parts there is no way I would look else where for my parts.
