Ok so a while back I bought a second ECU of a local guy here so I could have mine sent in to be socketed. Got it really cheap and in good condition. (Rebuilt by python injections)

Anyway when I bought it off the seller he said that it was tuned via AEM EMS. My question is does the tune stay on the ECU or does it reset? I have no clue how EMS works as I am learning all I can about DSMLink because that's the route I want to go.

Any help is appreciated!

BTW I did a few quick searches but the key phrases I was using were showing any results.

And sorry about my punctuation, spelling, and grammer. I am typing this on my phone at work. :p

AEM EMS is a complete standalone unit. You cannot "tune" a factory ECU with it. The guy is full of crap.

Thank you very much huafist for that answer! Yeah the guy here is full of it and back out on many buyers as well as myself for some items he was selling. He also trys to call certain parts other names. Ha if I didnt know any better I would have fallen for it.

But yeah I wanted it stock. My car is completely stock and I needed it stock to run while I send my stock ecu in to be epromed!
