adjustable suspension height

I am looking for an easily adjustable suspension for the height of the car off the ground, i don't really want to spend big bux on air suspension, but i want to be able to like, get out maybe and just adjust the height at each wheel type deal... i don't know if its possible, if not, than anyone know where i can get a cheap air suspension thats adjustable from inside the car??? I realize that if it was all a matter of turning a nut on some height dohicky that your car would eventually get really outta whack for weight transfer, thats why i want to know if anyone knows of a shock where you could turn say a knob, and it adjusts so that the car is still the same for weight transfer...

Well, anyone else have any ideas, I kind of want alot of ideas because I live on a really bad road, lots of pot holes and other great things to screw up a car with... and my driveway has a way of making a lowered car bottom out... but i'd like to lower my car for better handling, but I can't afford to always buy new ground effects kits from them breaking when i bottom out.
