This intercooler looks awesome, nice looking core. Anyone have any experiences with this fmic? What is the quality of the pipes and how good is the welding on the bov?

Pipe quality is good, weld quality around the BOV is very good. More then likely you are going to need to get custom welding done anyway. My ADFX pipes came up short though.

FMIC core size is big. Flow thru to the radiator is MUCH better than most spearcos. But the extruded core design I'm not sold on. I don't know if they switched to an internal fin design already. I'm going to do some t-body intake temp testing before I recommend this extruded core I.C. to anybody.

Ok, maybe it's my crappy server at work, but i can't find where to buy anything from ADFX. I know they have/had a websight, but i can never get to it. does it exist? I'm interested in their items too, can anybody help?

The lower pipe was not expanded, requiring an expensive 2"-2.5" transition hose. It also was 8" short on top of that. The upper I.C. pipe was short by about 3-4", requiring a 6" piece of straight silicone hose, which I had to buy separately. Very annoying, since I was all ready to run the car and my I.C. pipes were all coming up short. Not happy about that, but I already had some custom welding done for a 2.5" throttlebody elbow, so welding extra pipe was no biggy. Compared to hacking the front bumper support and bumper cover, this was nothing.

Well, if they are any kind of vendor, they will reimburse you for your extra parts cost if you ask them. I wouldn't have much patience for a place where I spent big bucks for a bolt-on kit that comes with pipes that are 8" short. I'd at least expect to be reimbursed for the extra parts.

The ADFX intercoolers for the 2G are a pain to install. You have to cut way too much. All to save about 6" of piping. The core isn't bad but it's not great either. The upper pipe was a little short on mine but i got it to work. May have been the 4" couplers they gave me that helped. The lower pipe was too short though. It also took forever to get. Unless you get a smoking deal on one don't bother. Get a Victory one or AGP.
