2G Activate Security System

My Green security light used to come on every time I locked the doors.

It doesn't anymore. I'm not sure when it stopped. Now I can't program a new keyless entry (I believe) because the security system is inactive.

Components I've checked: cabin security fuse, door lock cylinder switches (attached to backs of cylinders).

I don't know what to check next. Can disconnecting the seat belt sensor affect the security system?

Well the only way I knew how to active mine before I got my keyless entry. I just locked all the doors and the dash would light a green security stayed on for 30 seconds, then flashed every minute. With that said id check the light bulb in the dash/gauges....yes these in dash bulbs do go out I changed like 5 of then including the security bulb
