i just put in a act 2900 and a steet disc in to my car. know it wont go into gear! like i bled bled bled it and bled. then i went under the dash and adjusted the master rod all the way out and know the car moves but its literally like as soon as i move my foot it takes off. does any one know what this problem is? i just bought a brand new slave cylinder and a extension rod put it on so thats not the problem. do i have to bled it more? has anyone had this problem. can some one please help thanks:cry:

I've been battling a similar issue ever since I did my clutch this summer. Bled bled and bled some more, bought a speed bleeder with a check valve in it and bled some more, changed master and slave twice now, still having problems. I've read about shimming the clutch fork, which I didn't do, so that might be my problem as well as yours if you didn't do that.

Also did you buy aftermarket or oem master and slaves? Jack from Jacks Transmissions LLC — Welcome says to only use oem, which I didn't, so that could also be a reason for my problem. Just throwing out ideas for you since most people will tell you to bleed some more, which I've definitely found isn't always the solution.

Did you put the washer/shim on the pivot ball like they recommend.. Did you push the slave cyl back to make sure no air is trapped in the slave? I dont know why you are using an extended rod.. It doesn't help.. There is a bleeder in the master which if you back the rod all the way out the bleeder wont work and it will no longer get enough fluid in the cyl to push it the full length.. Jacks Trans has some youtube videos on how to proper bleed and adjust master... You need to look into it..

a common problem with these cars is also the pedal assembly itself. the bushings could be shot etc. so you are actually moving the pedal alot before you even get any movement at the master. this seems to be the most common problem that i have seen.

i bought a brand new master and slave. i adjusted the master rod all the way out and thats when i finally get the car to move but i have to punch the pedal to the floor and as soon as i move my foot like a hair it engages! i bled the clutch maybe 50 times literaly and nothing worked there. maybe it has to do with the 2900 with the street disc? idk can someone help
