What should i get, mods are in profile, i heard the 2900 is better for awd and better for t-case.

The act 2900 will hold better, work less hard so it should be more durable and has less pedal pressure then the 2600 once its broken in.

yea, apparently they made some major changes to their 2900 and 3200's so they have less pedal pressure. Why couldn't I have known this before I bought my 2600...

I'm running one of the new 2900 pressure plates and before break in it felt a little lighter then a 2600. Now that it's broken it it feels just slightly firmer then a 2100. So yes, the new 2900's are very streetable.

Now i'm slightly pissed too as i just got a new 2600 in the car. They had to order the 2600 but they had a 2900 on the shelf. I said no because the 2600 is plenty heavy enough when i get stuck in traffic. If only i had known :sosad:

Ok just want to make sure i dont get ripped off, so anything more then 300 dont do right?

I got a question here, with an XACT flywheel should you have to do anything to it other than throw it on with a ACT 2900? I have herd someone say it had to be the correct step or something. I honestly have no idea what there talking about.

And now that I hear the 2900 is better than the 2600 in the way of pedel pressure this is what I was looking for. (was dreading the 2600 to the point I was looking at everything else)

The ACT flywheel should come shipped to you with the correct step. The step height is the distance between the pressure plate mounting surface and the friction surface of the flywheel. I would just slap it on there and it should be just fine, but you may want to check the step just in case because it will all have to come apart if it wasn't stepped correctly. I believe the correct step is between .609-.612".
