Was just looking at adding in a switch for the map switching function on my Talon and wanted something that looked factory. What switch was in the bottom most position in the 2G AC vent? on every US model car I have seen it is filled with a blank. Is there an option on say a Euro model that puts a switch there? I know the switch holder part of the bezel is different but has anyone tried modifying it to put a factory style switch there?

I have, it wouldn't fit in there with out cutting. I tried the hazard and defrost ones. The bezels were also used in the Avenger, so that may have something there.

I have never seen anything in the bottom switch location. You could get a factory style switch in there and make it function though. It would take some fab work though.

I got the light there as well.

I know that there isn't a switch on european DSMs. I also looked for the online caps and there's only the plug and no switch for any electrical device available...
