Ok, first off, I have a 95 Eclipse GS Auto(sadly). I'm trying to take apart the shifter right now, but I've run into a problem. The overdrive button on the side won't come out cus of the button holding it in place. Every screw is out, but the thing is lodged in there cus of the button. How do I get it out?

My friend bought me some carbon fiber auto shifter for a birthday present. I don't really like the look of it, but, I figure I might as well put it on to not hurt his feelings. So yeah, I can't really figure out how to take it off.

The button on the od switch actuallt pops off. Use a flat head screw driver and try not to break it. And dont worry, it snaps back on.

is it one of those knobs that is just a straight stick and doesn leave room for ur overdrive button? Well if it is i have seen ppl re route the od button somewhere else..But to keep the OD button in the same place i know RAZO makes a knob that allows u to keep the od button on the shifter. But its like real expensive and its all chrome :barf:
