a-pillar install

I recently purchased a 98 gst and the a pillar was stolen prior to my purchase. To install a new gauge pod do i need the original trim piece? Or can i fab my own brackets. If any one has info it would be greatly appreciated.

as long as u buy a full pillar pod, u will be able to put it on. U are supposed to use the original, but with some screws and a drill, it will be easy

thanks guys i have one and i have a few ideas to make it work. just waiting for my gauges to show up.

the link defiant posted shouldn't require any ideas to make it work. It is a full replacement pod from lotek and just screws into the frame.. Took me 1/2 hour to install..
