Sick car man. Its not that often you see gold rims.

But im lovin it!
 
Sick car bro! Nothing like a clean 2G. I let my "father in law" paint my car, and do whatever he wanted since we agreed that if I prepped it and worked at his shop,I wouldnt have to pay anything. Unfortuantley "whatever he wanted" included stripes and my car name on,well, my car. They are not decals either, they are painted on, and under numerous clear coats. This spring, no matter what cirumstance, even if it requires my hands, those damn graphics are coming off! Your car is very clean. +1 for nice 2Gs.

I decided to keep her and continue on. I got tuned on 23 psi with a pretty moderate tune. On a couple pulls I pulled no more that .4 counts of knock which is nothing.
 
Thanks. Where is the cheapest place for motorcycle slicks? I believe I am going through with the evo front brakes which need a 17" wheel to clear the caliper.
 
Green and Gold all the way. Love seeing the color of mine on a 2g. I'm looking into powder coating some more parts to make more of a theme. "How did the fp2 cams feel when you installed them? I ordered some and will be installing them next week. I can't wait. I've done the research and seen nothing but positives to installing them despite whatever lower end you may lose. I'm surprised you only went with the fp2 when you have valves and springs installed. Why not the fp3 or a more aggressive cam?
 
Id have to say I never liked that green color but your car makes it look good. Crazy how lowering the car and putting a setup of rims on makes the world of diffrence. Very nice choice of rim's.

Nice lookin car. I have a darker color green TSi and plan on picking up some stock 5 spokes and painting them gold, so its nice to see your car and know that the green/gold combo is a good idea
 
Thanks for all the compliments guys. The Fp2's did make me loose a little low end but gave me quite an advantage on the upper end. I went with the fp2s because I got them brand new for 225 shipped and couldn't turn that down. Although I am selling her again due to me going off to college soon.

I am going to throw the carbon fiber hatch back on there this weekend and take some more pictures. I will post them when I have them.
