A/F Gauge Question

Which wire on the O2 Sensor does the air/fuel gauge use? I think it's a black wire, but there are 2 black wires. One goes to a red wire on the harness to the O2 Sensor, the other goes to a yellow wire.

Tapping into the O2 sensor front bank is much easier and it is already in the passenger compartment.

I already have the wire run to the O2 sensor under the hood, so that would actually be the much easier route to take now. There are 4 wires that go to the O2 sensor - red, yellow, black and white. Which one???

Is it just sitting out there? What color is it on a 1g? There something on vfaq on this? I didn't find it...

Unfortunatelly I can't locate that plug inside the passenger compartment of my 2G, any tips?
