ok so its all out of the car right now and i only want the heater back in do i have to keep the a/c box in the cabin or can i just remove it? also what is the middle thing you know that piece inbetween the a/c and the heater? i figured its just the blower motor but i want 100% i just dont want all the a/c lines in my bay and i dont want and ugly unused hook up sticking out of my firewall. also does anyone know what the belt size would be to ditch the a/c pump and keep the ps? my engine is a 1.8l

Yeah you can keep the heater without the AC because the heater runs off of the coolant lines from the engine whereas the ac runs off of its own AC lines from the AC pump.
