Searched but didn't see anything similar,
So i got a whole A/c system off another 95 GSX that was running, Everything was unhooked off the working car and then swapped to mine. All lines, condenser, compressor etc. I drove up to the place to get refilled, And as they vacuumed out the system and tried to fill it with freon the car would not take anymore than 4oz. so they said something was wrong maybe the Expansion valve, so i went home and changed it. came back the next day and as they vacuumed the car again and tried to fill it, it took 8oz now. On the blue gauge it was slowly rising the psi, but on the red gauge it was already in the 350psi which then the guy said he couldn't keep filling it up with freon otherwise something was gonna explode. He suggested that maybe the compressor didn't have any oil. I'm guessing he didn't put any oil on there so i just left.
Now when you turn it on, you can hear the compressor click and blows COLD for the first 10 seconds, then after that it gets normal air temp. Mind that it only has 8oz of freon on the system.
Could it be that the guy did a poor job as vacuuming the system? he only had it hooked for about 10mnts at most. Any ideas of what to do next?
***One thing i did notice that that while i swapped the Expansion valve, One of the plugs going to the Auto comp controller Had two clips jumping two connectors each. Is that suppose to be there? By accident i popped one of them out and was making the compressor click and unclick by it self going all crazy. also made the Green light on the A/c button go on and off as i wiggled it around.
