General 99 ecu in my 97 gst

i have a 97 gst and im looking to change the computer to a flashable one i found one out of a 99 and matched the numbers. but im going to take it to a shop around were i live to have it tuned so if i get this computer and put it in is that all i have to do and take it to them and they will be able to tune it or do i need something else?

It swaps right in no wire change or anything. . . And from what I recall, the reflash plug is in the 1997s.

Does your "shop" even know about the ceddy mod?
