Finally getting around to posting something on here. Will have to do it in two parts Let me start off with the general story:
I bought my Talon back in 2009, and, after having it on the road for all of 2 months, I started having issues, so I parked it, anticipating a build that winter. Unfortunately, I was laid off a couple months later, so I was delayed by a year. Near the end of 2010, I found a great deal on a 97 GSX shell, which I intended to build, only to find out when tearing it down that the frame had been improperly repaired. Knowing this, the decision was made to combine the two together.
Anyway, onto everything I accomplished during my bit of time off this winter. I apologize in advance that this first post will seem a little cut and pasted as, well, it is.
The cars as they started:

First step was getting the motor and tranny out of the talon, as I need the tranny for the eclipse. (Or so I thought)
Motor in:

Motor out:

Delicious 7 bolt:

Obligatory Person-In-The-Engine-Bay Shot:

Next step was to strip down the eclipse engine bay and start work on the harnesses.
Swapped some parts over to the talon from the eclipse, and removed all the unnecessary wires from the harness. Just have to mock it up once I have the engine in to finish it up.
