97 Spyder convertable problems

Ok so ive done my research and ive had no luck with this question. So i have a 97spyder and the water collects in one spot on the passenger side and then soaks into the interior of the car. Also both sides by the a pillars leak and i have no leaks by the windshield or the back window. so my question is do i just need the canvas black top with weather stripping for the sides? Also what is a reasonable price to expect for someone to charge if i buy these items and then ask them to install it at a shop? Also does anyone know any places in or by Long Island New York that are good, I am willing to travel as long as the job gets done right and it is a good price. thanks again

You could replace the seal/weather stripping on above the windshield side also the lates themselves are adjustable have you tried making them tighter?

But I don't have a leak by the windshield it's by the a pillars or i guess you could say by the driver and passenger windows and how will making the lates tighter stop the leak in the roof where water collects and sits and leaks through the fabric?

New top 300$-600$ on eBay installation is do it yourself. They come with detailed instructions of not u can her a chiltons book and there are direction in one of the sections

The water seaps into where the windshield is and runs downs to the corners and leaks. At least that was the case with mine

is there a way to do the top my self? I have the same problem. Do you recommend Chiltons manual instead of the other one?
