Finally got my Eclipse running again after months of having a faulty ASD relay. Anyways one of my buddies recently got a 94 Prelude Si with Exhaust and Intake. He asked me if i wanted to go to the 1/4 track and do a run. My Eclipse has headers, exhaust, intake, performance fuel pump, MSD ignition coil. We both have stock tires and rims, would it be fairly close or does he have me?

Well no one responded to your bench race, but I'll add something:

1994 Prelude Si
Performance
Base Number of Cylinders: 4
Base Engine Size: 2.3 liters
Base Engine Type: Inline 4
Horsepower: 160 hp
Max Horsepower: 5800 rpm
Torque: 156 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 4500 rpm
Drive Type: FWD
Curb Weight: 2765 lbs.

1997 Eclipse GS
Base Number of Cylinders: 4
Base Engine Size: 2 liters
Base Engine Type: Inline 4
Horsepower: 140 hp
Max Horsepower: 6000 rpm
Torque: 130 ft-lbs.
Max Torque: 4800 rpm
Drive Type: FWD
Curb Weight: 2767 lbs.

Very close, but with more stock HP and TQ and being about the same weight, I'd say that he's got you even with fewer modifications. Did you guys go?
