97-99 headlight question

Since its so hard to find anyone selling a set of 97-99 healights, I found 2 people on ebay selling one of each light, left and right, and before i bought them, i want to make sure they are both the same lights, and would like it if someone could look at the links and verify it for me.

Those will not fit right on a 1995-1996 you have a 2ga and 1997-1999 is the 2gb which the front bumper and the headlights are diffenrent it doesn't look but they are. Ok I also see that your car is listed as a 1996 n/t. Is a 1997 or you just want 1997-1999 headlights, if so you will need to use the 1997-1999 front bumper and not only that the plugs are diffenrent so you will have to do some rewiring also.

Confirmed... those headlights would make a matching pair!

I think he already knows this and is planning on doing a 2gb front end conversion.

Ya those are the same, but does the drivers side headlight have a cleared out corner?? For some reason it kind of looks that way...

I thought it did and your right it looks alot like it does he/she might want to check that out asap.

thanks for the replies guys, and i have a blitz front bumper, 97-99 style, so these will fit, i just wanted to make sure they were both the same, but i will ask the one seller if it has a clear corner to it or not before i decide to buy it

what about this one? if you look at the second picture, it looks to have the yellow corner, and i can get it pretty cheap, along with the other one, im just trying to make sure i get the right ones.

and will my bulbs in my lights work with these ones, or will i need new ones?

Thanks a lot. Also, i wasnt aware of the fact that the plugs are different, and these will require me to rewire them, so is there a link or something that shows me how to do it?

not only that the plugs are diffenrent so you will have to do some rewiring also.

You do not have to do anything with the wiring. If you get the stock headlights, they will plug right it.

Not if the original car is the 2ga and the lights are from a 2gb, the wiring harness is different as stated above. The connections are a lot different and need to be re worked (projectors are different between the years, look at the plugs).

Yeah there should be a vfaq on it, just look under 2ga to 2gb conversion. Hope this helps.
