97-99 headlights

Hey I have a question, I have a 95 gst, and eventually I am going to be doing the 97-99 conversion. I need new headlights NOW though so I was wondering how bad it would look to buy some 97-99 headlights and have them on my 95 front bumper? Anyone think I shouldnt do it?

i have the 97-98 headlights on my 95 and they are smaller so you probaly have to get the 98 bumper so they can look beter

It is possible to have the 2gb eclipse(97-99) lights paired with your 2ga bumper. However, there will be a noticeable gap.

If you are considering a 2gb Talon (97-98) bumper, then you would need 2ga(95-96) lights to not have a gap since the 2gb Talons had the same headlights as the 2ga Talon/Eclipse.

Well eventually i am going to put on the 97-99 eclipse front bumper. But my one headlight is ckracked so I need to at least replace them now. So i want to just buy the 97 lights instead of having to go back and do it again.

So for a little while i will be running 97 lights with my 95 bumper

How big of a gap is it going to be?

I would guess that the gap is about 1/2" to 1" on the inside of edges of the front bumper towards the nose.

I can't seem to locate a picture to show you. However, I am sure one will pop up soon. Try looking through the gallery for one.

Actually is not that bad, especially if it is a temporary solution... you can fill the gaps with fiber glass and paint it if you want to...

My friend has that setup, it's not bad at all. And it's temporary for you so definitely get the 97-99.
