I have a 96 eclipse RS with a full blitz body kit, ive been screwed over with it and im changeing over to a 97-99 style body, i did not see my factory bumper before it was taken off for the new blitz bumper, so i was wondering if anyone could show me a diagram or something on how it is hung up, i know there are a few screws along the middle between the headlights, and 2 i think on each side where it connects to the fenders, is there anymore supports or anything i need to get?

Nope that's it.. there are a few more on the sides that hold it onto the "mud flap" or wheel well plastic guards. There is supposed to be a metal plate along the bottom to hold the bumper together and look stiff.. but if you have a blitz front bumper you most likely don't have it. Anyways, yeah that's about it, the bumper is off!

alright thanks thats all i needed to know, the guy who did my car pretty much threw everything away so i had no idea of any supports or anything that went to the factory bumper, thanks.

All your bodykit will need is 5 across the top, and 2 on each side. You do not need any of the bottom bolts that your factory bumper would have had. You should be able to use the exact same size bolts all around. I bought my car with the kit prefitted but I repainted it last winter. When I put it back on I replaced all of the bolts(they were all different makes and lengths for some reason) I just took a trip to the hardware store and bought identical bolts, spacers, and lock nut washers. I would suggest putting some "lock-nut" thread sealer on all of them because if you bottom out you'll notice the kit starting to come loose over time and this will help aid that.

Alright apreciate it, im just fed up with a body kit when you drive a car all the time you definilty do not need one, and besides 2g eclipses look just as good if not better with factory body parts. the guy who was suposed to know what he was doing screwed me over so im having to fix it myself, paint it myself, try to get it back on the road.
