96 Talon TSi has no ECU?

I was told I need to pick up an ECU/injectors from another model DSM due to the 96 talon being the only model that doesnt come with an ECU?

Who ever told you that is retarded. Its in the same place every other DSMs ECU is. Under the dash behind the radio.

Can the car be tuned just like any other dsm?

They were probably referring to not having EEPROM, and even still, its not very common to get an EEPROM ecu with our cars. ALL fuel injected cars need ecus. Either pick one up here or you can send your ECU in to get chipped. You'll need DSMLINK in order to be able to tune with larger injectors. Unless you want to run pig rich full time and get .5 miles to the gallon with larger injectors.
