Im having some troubles getting into first gear with my AWD, not as much when stopped as compared to while still moving slightly........ I saw some kits on ebay to adjust the shift linkage, is this my problem or am I just going to be better off going with a synthetic fluid to help the synchros out..

Havin Same problem, 95 GSX, If im moving at all, and i mean almost at all, its hard as hell to get er in 1st. At a stop usually not to bad if car has been running a while, when i first start the car its nasty. Any suggestions? I thought maybe it was my bushings but its usually only first

I had the same problem with my car, from what i read on other forums i should have had my master cylinder replaced but i brought it to goodyear and told them what was wrong, long story short they said it was my slave cylinder and basically it never fixed it. A tranny flush would be my suggestion or have a shop look at your master cylinder.

first post sounds like he needs to drain his trany & stick some good stuff in there (Syncro Mesh, GM or pensoil)

the rest of em prolly would improve by doing the same.. maybe check your transfilter too..
