2G 96 eclipse gst manual transmission?

Hey guys so I just got my transmission today. I just would like to make sure that it'll bolt up to my 97 4g63 and everything should work. The clutch slave looks different from the one I ordered. If you can inform me on anything I should know im all ears.

You were probably sold the nt slave.

So the slave on this transmission I got looks like the right one?

Looking at the transmission again I guess the slave isn't on it. I paid a pretty penny for this crusty thing so I just wanted to make sure it looks correct. I'm way new to these manuals.

Could you guys inform me on the picture I took and where the lines go. Im assuming its part of the slave. I couldn't seem to find a clear picture to go off of. Beleive it or not I have never messed with these manuals even in my past eclipses. They never gave me any problems so I never touched them.

Given the lines are all cut I would eliminate that accumulator. You will need a new aftermarket line that goes from the factory hardline still in the car to the slave bypassing the accumulator. If you want to use that accumulator you will need to replace all the lines that have been cut.

Alright so I can just get rid of that what exactly does it do, and is there any benefits. Thanks for informing me on that.

You return it to the salvage yard and get your money back.

Alternately spend more money and repair the threads. If you can't diy take it to a machine shop.
