'96 Eclipse GS wheels for a '98 TSI AWD

I found a set of used winter wheels (205/55 R-16 ) I'm thinking of getting. Will these affect the durability of any compents? i.e. ECU, tranny, etc... I currently have 225/45ZR17 summer tires.
