heres my problem, my car is gettin spark and fuel but wont start.... i checked the fuel pump as well as the fuel entering the rail, i got about 8 ounces of fuel in about 5 seconds of turning over. i had 3 wires which could possibly have been grounded out, fuel pressure solenoid, egr solenoid and the evappurge solenoid. i wouldnt think that any one of these, or evan all for that matter would cause the car not to start, i replaced the ecu, that wasnt it, the second thing i checked was the timing belt, it was fine.also, there is a missing hose on the top of the evap canister, is the large barb sopposed to have a hose on it? if anyone has an idea pleeeeas let me know. thanks

Not that this is your case, but I had a problem like yours. It was the crank angle sensor.

i checked the tps continuity today and all seemed good, im not sure how to check for voltage, i checked the continuity via manual reference. the cam angle sensor would make sense to me as the car acts exactly like a car with no timing belt, cams turning but i dont think the fuel injectors are geting pulse. anyone know if i get this to the mits shop if they can scan for bad sensors as the car hasnt ran since the wires were grounded. this is an early 95, still a true dsm so im not sure if it has obdII on it, anyone know how they run diagnostics on these, what scanner or computer they use? i would just replace the c.a.s. but they arent cheap, after replacing the ecu i really dont want another high price part and have it not be the problem. is there a way to test the c.a.s. itself? i cant find any thing in my manual or on the net. any help still greatly appreciated
