My car has been down for awhile, do to trans issue that I nor the dealer cant figure out.

Heres the thing, I went to go to my mothers , got in the car, put it into Drive, and Nothing, No clunk, or any feel of it shifting. So i called the dealer, Now this is after they replaced the trans case. Any ways, they came with a roll back and got the car. Few hrs later, called and said it was the "REAR CLUTCH PACK" and it was dead...

So I get the money to release the car, I get in it, Goes into reverse fine, no issues there, but when i put it into drive, nothing. So i though i wounder. I put my foot on the brake, bring the RPM up and start to slowly leave off the brake, but still having braking on the car, and bam it goes into drive. I Drove it home, almost 1hr away, if it was the trans it should have taking me to the promisland on 220 at 70mph, it pulled fine, shifted fine and took the abuse of a hard pull to a speed left unsaid. . So i get the car home, Put in park, then reverse, back up, then put in drive, fine did that 8 times. I let it sit for a few hrs, went out and did it again. This time, didn't go right in, but went into drive.

that was in April. before the recall, i had a guy do my end clutches and shift kit... and he found the T-Case leak, then the dealer got it, then when i got it back, it was fine for 2 days, then bam, it stopped.

Now i started the 5spd swap, but the kid that wants to buy the car, thinks he wants it auto, so i put the auto stuff back into day. I tried putting into Drive still no go, but when i did the brake thing, i didn't have to bring up the RPM as much as i did at the dealers, so i took it around the block and pull hard, shifted fine, pulled it around, shifted to reverse, got a bit to close to my Bros house (where the car is now), and when i put it into drive, it did it again, like it was never there.

So wile it was at my bros being gutted for a 5spd swap, i put the trans on Ebay and got an email from a guy, saying his did the same problem, and replaced a speed sensor of some sort on the trans, and it fixed his problem. I'm not trans tech savoy, but something is wrong. car had a slight delay shifting into drive before the shift kit, and after well it sits, could it be valve body? this speed sensor? because if it was the trans, it would have taken the dump on the run that i did on the way home, almost wanted it to.

Sorry for being so long, but figured more info, less questions.
So its ether find the cure or sell/trade it in..

[That's cool. Thanks :thumb: ]

any ideas on why it will not go into drive sometimes? seems to work better when the trans is warmed up and such. If it doest want to go into drive, i put it in park, rev it once, not to like 3k or any thing just a quick one, when the rpms come down i can put it into drive and get a 3sec +/- delay and then it goes in, just realy crazy  :sosad:
