95 talon question

Ok so i have a 95 talon tsi awd. I am under the impression that for the second gen cars obd2 was used. But ive also read that there are some differences in the 95 deoending on when they were built.

My real question is that my car only has one o2 sensor. There is no second o2 before or after the cat. So does this mean my car is obd1?? And what can I use for a datalogging setup for my car.

OBD1 cars are 1990-93 DSMS's, 91-92 GVR4s, & 90-93 3000GT/Stealth. Your car, being a 95 falls in the OBD2 area. So when you are looking for dataloging software you are an OBD2.

your car was BORN with two sensors, if you only have one then that means someone decided that they only wanted you to have one and removed one.

I could've sworn that OBD-II started in '96 model years ('95 build year) regardless of what kind of car it was.

mitsu started a year earlier than everyone else, so they are the exeption with the 95' dsms being obd2

Mitsubishi and Volkswagen were the first two to inflict.... er, implement OBDII. All 2Gs are, and if you're missing an 02 sensor, yes, it's missing. Look under the console, you'll find its wiring.
