I've looked over many of the threads for the last 3 hours and have only found vauge similarities to what I am expeirencing. Mainly with the idle surge.
1. Fast Idle surging: when I start my hoopty it'll bump up in RPM right around 16-1700 then when it drops to NOT, it'll surge real fast like like a wub wub wub wub wub. It'll accelerate fine but when I hit around 5000 rpm it'll feel sluggish, no matter what gear I'm hitting it that high in.
2. Transmission knock: When I first got the car it had a pretty old tranny in it. so after many of snowballs rolling downhill with it, I replaced the tranny and put i a new clutch, slave cyl. and lines. before, almost everytime I would shift, there would be a knock from under the car. when I replaced everything. it stopped..until the cold weather hit. now it'll do it about 1 out of 100 shifts.
3. E-brake knock: when I pull up on the e-brake it knocks. Any suggestions? I've checked everything that I could possibly think of. I'm clueless.
Thanks for taking the time to read all that.
Sorry if I missed the threads I was looking for.
