95 gsx black dash harness swap

i am swapping my original gray dash to the original black dash. i got the black dash out of a gs non-turbo so i will need to swap the harness from my gray dash to the black dash. i wanted to know how hard this is to do? and has anyone posted a forum on the harness removal? any info will help. thanks

It's super easy. Unscrew all the ducts for the hvac, pull them off, and there's around 10 screws holding the harness on along with a couple clips.

I just did this a few months ago. My black dash was out of an RS however. It doesn't make much of a difference though.

Just take the dash apart to get the harness off in one piece and replace it with the GSX harness. It is literally as easy as that.

Very simple. Just did this tonight. There are ducts on the underside of the dash that are held on with screws. If you remove the screws, the ducts will come right out and you can see the harness from there. There are also 2 of those zip ties that have the plastic pins on them on the driver portion of the dash connected to the metal bracket where the gauge cluster goes, (you insert the pin into a hole and then need pliers to release them... You will see what I mean when you get there) You can either cut them or pry them out with something. It's pretty easy to swap them though.
