my 95 gst shakes like hell when over 70 mph. its kind of scary LOL idk what it cld be. the whole car shakes which makes the steering wheel shake. what could this be? i cant figure it out:banghead:

could be you wheels are out of balance.... been there.... or you may have bumps on your tires... when did it start? how old are your tires?

+1 on getting your wheels balanced, its relatively inexpensive and any decent shop will notice slack in your tie rods when they have the wheels off.

Check rods, tire balance, if they are aftermarket wheels check if they fit you hub good, if not you may need hub rings, but first make sure your tires are good and balanced then go from there, bur make sure they are high speed balanced, and have the road force on the rims and tires checked and the psi...LOL I used to work at tire kingdom

Tie rod, ball joint, tires out of balance, broken belt in tire, bent wheel, dirt build up on wheels (if you drive on dirt roads), wheel bearing. Check all this stuff, also check your control arm bushings.

My tires would shake all the time no matter how many times I balanced them. The issue did not go away until I replaced the rims. Turns out one or more of the rims was bent and the wheel balance could not compensate enough.

Anyway start with a wheel balancing, check the tie rods, and ball joints.

One last thing, do the vibrations decrease after you've been driving a while? Mine do that now, but go away once the tires warm up from driving. Turns out I have flat spots on the tires from having the car sit too long.

This happened to me like 6 months ago but it turned out that there was just a huge chunk of ice on the inside of my rim

thanks alot guys. im going to get my tires balanced first. but in the mean time i just blew my clutch today LOL so now i have a fun project to get done this week. fml
