95 Eclipse RS back speakers 6x9?

my cover is one of the long oval ones not round so this means theyre 6x9?

not neccesarily. Just because the grill/cover thing is shaped like a 6x9 doesn't mean your speakers are. But u can fit them.

the rear speakers in my 95 GS-T are 6x9's but i rigged up some 5x7's i had lying around

Yes they are 6x9 but the depth is pretty shallow
