I just bought my eclipse gsx and I'm looking for a good exhaust to put on it. It currently has a 6 bolt swap and a 16g from an evo 3. I was looking at getting a Megan Racing exhaust but it says the down pipe isn't compatible with an Evo 3 turbo. Is there a way I can mix and match? and if so what system should I go for? If not would it be easier for me to just get a custom 3 inch exhaust made?

Thanks for the help!

I'm pretty sure it meant the evo3 o2 housing and not the turbo itself. The evo3 o2 is angled a little different and will cause figment issues. I have an apexi catback and downpipe and love it. It's more a personal preference thing I believe. I have read good things about the Meagan exhaust though. Look at the parts reviews in the tech section. There are a few exhaust reviews that may help.

Yea they definitely meant the evo3 02 and not the turbo. The evo3 02 uses a slightly different bend where the down pipe connects to the 02.Any name brand one is good but I got a homemade one that's straight pipe and sounds amazing! :hellyeah:

OK, so it wouldn't be too hard to adapt the downpipe to fit with the o2 sensor right? Sound-wise, I want it to sound good but I don't want something obnoxious either. Running a straight pipe or no cats is out too, emmisions are pretty strict in Colorado and there are alot of noise restrictions where I live too.

The 02 sensor will be fine with any dsm down pipe stock or aftermarket. But if your talking about other 02s then the front then i'm not sure as for I don't want them. And then I would go high flow cat with a resonator if you don't want all power and noise! :hellyeah:
