I've been through quite a few threads/forums. And I'm getting kind of tired. Every where I go says something different LOL.

So basically the problem I've run into, is most of the Chrysler dealers in the area (within 50 miles) have gone out of business and the nearest Mitsubishi dealer is over 1h30m away.

The one I used to get my gear oil from is gone, and I've just got done swapping engines from a junk car into mine (long story short, old engine bit the dust) ran into a number of issues including a missfire on cylinder 2. I'm learning as I go which makes it harder LOL, but I did manage to get that sorted (bad injector).

Now I need new trans juice! But I'm seeing the old mopar stuff has been replaced by "ATF+4" which I am not going to put into my car. Lost a trans once before because of that. (If you use it and it works then great for you since its fairly cheap, but I'm not risking that again.)

So from researching, I've narrowed it down to my trans being "NVT350" so, I'm curious if anyone has used this stuff -- https://www.amsoil.com/storefront/mtf.aspx and how you feel about it. According to what it says

Recommended for automotive and light-truck applications that require synchromesh transmission fluid. Applications include manual transmissions and transaxles such as New Venture NV T350, NV 1500, NV 2550, NV 3500, NV 3550, NV 5600, and Tremec T4, T5, T18, T56, T176, TKO500, TKO600, TR 3450 and TR 3550. Replaces MTF-94 fluid for Land Rover, MG, and Mini Cooper. Replaces Honda Genuine MTF fluid for manual transaxles and Texaco MTX fluid. Not for use in engines, hypoid rear axles, limited-slip or wet clutch applications.

It looks like it should be exactly what I need. Is it thin and watery like most ATF? or does it have the thickness that the Mopar had? If it doesn't, anyone know where I can find the old Mopar stuff?

Thanks!

Sorry if this has been covered somewhere, but I'm tired and I've had enough searching for one day.

Street Tuned Motorsports. They are one of the supporting vendors. Great guys :thumb:

Definitely book marking that, quite a bit of stuff I might need in the future there.

But looking through the OEM lists, fluids are for auto unless in my sleepy state I'm being incompetent.

Under the other list of fluids sets me back at square one of not sure what is good for the 420a's trans.

This car is lucky I love it more than I do some of my family, or I'd get rid of it just for being a pain in my ass every chance it gets.
