I have been searching and have found several posts on fuel pumps that say you have to be cranking a 2G before the fuel pump comes on.
On my 1995 Eagle Talon TSI AWD this is not the case. I bought the car off the show room floor in 1995 and from day 1 if the key is in the accessory position the fuel pump will run. In mine I hear it run for maybe 3 or 4 seconds and then it stops or I stop hearing it.
Is this abnormal?

. Great car! Got to love these Japanese motors. Paid $18k for it in 95 and happy with it.
