hello fellow dsm'ers.
my car was overheating so i took it into the shop to have it looked at. The did a pressure check and they said it was the head gasket. so, i told them to go ahead and change it out. everything came back ok, the head's weren't warped, and the block isn't cracked. bu t he inform me of something interesting. i thought the whole time that i had a 95 gst. but it turns out that i have a 92 motor swapped in, and its turbo charged and everything. now to my question...whats the diference, if there is any? is any one better than the other one? which turbo would be better?( i dont know what is on there...the housing says td05h on it) i tried looking it up, but i couldn't find like a comparison chart or something. anyway...and answers would be appreciated.

that link is good. thanks for the input. im going to try and figure out the difference between the 14b and t25. thanks a lot.

If you didn't figure this out already, the 14b is a LOT better turbo than the t25. The t25 runs out of power a whole lot sooner than the 14b does and that's why a lot of 2g guys switch to it. So not only is your motor better with the added bonus of no crankwalk, but you have a bigger turbo too :rocks:

The 14B is bigger
It flow a max of 405 cfm

The T25 well... it just sucks its smaller and runs out of breath easy

Mitsubishi went to the Garrett T25 from the Mitsubishi TD05-14B because they claimed that it was to reduce turbo lag but most people believe that it was to lower costs :notgood:
