Well i dropped my tank in my 94 summit ### I thought the fuel pump was bad. Well I noticed the wires to the connector were chewed. So I striped them back reconnected it and now there is no power to the fuel pump. Any help/info? Dont really no to much about these cars

i disconnected the battery before I dropped the tank but the wires were already chewed thru damn rats

HA! damn rats chewed the headlight connector going into my fender on my previous car. took a while to find why the hell they wouldn't work. Check fuses relays and if all is good you will probably just have to trace the wires back to the fuse block to make sure the rats haven't eaten it up somewhere else:beatentodeath: if i could put a rat there instead of a donkey I would LOL

If you have a test light make sure the relay is getting power and if so then take the relay out and use a jumper wire to run power to the wire for the fuel pump and if it doesn't come on you either have a bad pump or broken wire. Jump power the female prong for the relay that goes to the pump then go to the pump with a test light and see if you have power. If not there is a broken wire somewhere in the harness.

Yeah I hate rats the car was running good until i let it sit for a week while I drove my truck. I guess that was a mistake. This sounds like fun LOL

double check the fuses/relays. I had "rat" issues on my car a while back but it was the power windows. I found the wire that was chewed up but it would not work. Went trhough the wiring diagram and found that it was chewed up at the fuse box. I wonder how the stupid rats knew it was part of the same circuit! LOL.

Anyways, Double check the fuel pump while you're at it... goodluck
