93 turbo manual engine harness in a 90 turbo manual what to do about the wiring?

I am attempting to do a complete 91+ engine harness in my 90.

I dont wanna half ass it and do just the ecu and re-pining it cause i needed a new harness and i went ahead and got a 91+ turbo one.

I dont wanna do just the ecu i wanna do it all. Cause finding 90 parts is hard enough and if switch to 91 up it gives me about 10 different car platforms i can get parts from.

Currently i have these parts for my swap
91+
engine harness
cas, ignition pack, coil pack, throttle body
ecu and mpfi
also have a 91+ dash with harness and gauge cluster

This is my prob...

Cause the 90 dash harness that runs along the frame to the dash (under dash and not attached to it) and snakes around the fuse box and runs all the way to the back along the driver side of the car.

My main problem is 2 clips on the 93 harness, one has the same number of pins but the connector is 2 prongs to big so it wont plug in.

I dont know wether to de-pin and repin it to the connector to the 90 body harness, as the wire count is the same just the connector is 2 pins to big. So what do i do?

Another connector is the same and plugs in but there are 6 wires on each plug and almost half of them are different wire colors, or they go from a 10/12 gauge wire to a 14-18 gauge wire.

What do i do about this? Plug it in and it WILL work or do i have to re-pin it?

I need an answer, as i cant have my car running till i get this done.

My thought is you are finding differences in the actual components. Where are the plugs located? Where do the other ends run to. From what I gather in your post, is you may need to find the 91+ components these run to. Or, as you said, re-pin to the pin size you need.

The interior harness that connects to the ecu side inside the car on the passenger side.
I am about o give up and just get a 91+ interior harnes for the inside of my car and be done with it.
