I just recently installed a fuelab fpr and at first I didn't have a problem it would start fine. now whenever it sits for about 15 mins or more it takes at least 15 to 20 seconds of cranking before it starts my fp is set to 45 psi any help would be appriciated thanks. ebanks89
 
Not sure on what the problem might be yet. But, have you tried just turning the key to "run/on" and letting the pump cycle and the dash lights self check and all that before cranking it? I can't tell you how many people i know that have solved their starting issues by being patient for that 10 - 15 seconds and letting the car "ready it's self"

Things i would start looking at would be ; lines that coule be leaking, watch the guage on teh AFPR while some one cycles the key from "off" to "on", see if the fuel pressure rises up to where it's set as soon as teh key comes on, or if it stays lower untill the car starts to crank or the key has been cycled off/on/off.on a few times. That will help you determine if it might be the pump or something in the lines/filter.

Also, how are your sparkl plugs? Bad plugs can make a car seem to be hard starting or poor running and happen in such a short span that it seems like it just started yesterday.
 
you might have whats called "valve lock" in the egr system. my car does the same thing every now and then, but have been too lazy to install the egr block-off. try letting it crank for 2-3 seconds, turn the key to OFF, then try to start it again. it should start normal after you do that if its the egr system.
 
I checked for leaks and I waited for at least 15 sec to let the car go through it's cycle, and I have my egr blocked off. the problem was the fpr, I had gas coming from the vacuum port on the regulator. so I called fuelab and they said the diaphram was probly crushed on installation and they are going to send me another diaphram.
