What do you think of throwing a '92 nt front end (bumper, fenders, everything pretty much) on a '90 turbo? The 92 is a "parts car" and the 90 is running fine, but ONE of the front "turn signal lights" needs to be replaced, and my uncle (this was his idea, and his parts car) doesnt like the pop up lights.

Should I go through with this conversion (its getting repainted at the same time too) or will it need an act of god to be completed? It seems it would be common bolt on stuff, except for the headlight assembly and such (electronics of it).

I think it would be much easier to just remove the fuse, or complete assembly of the pop up motor lights and just cleaning the front "turn signal lights" instead of the front end swap. Then I would add some higher intensity bulbs of course (since the lights have more to shine through when in the down position). This would seem much easier than the entire front end swappie.

Please give me your opinions on this!

edit: Is it possible to construct a new hood or use the 92 hood so that it looks like "one piece"? The pop up light covers really stick out on the hood and if I removed the motor assembly for it there would be no need for the covers to be there. Im trying to say, could I make or use a hood that covers where the pop up covers would be?

Thanks!

Has anyone ever even heard of this mod? I think Im not going to do it. Im just going to remove the pop up light assemblies then install a small "generic light" with a high intensity bulb right behind the "front turn signal lights" on my 1ga.
