Hamilton,
I think I read on another site that the Talon is 70/30 with the front wheels being 70% of the power/drive.

Is this true? If this is the case, is there a way to make it handle more like a RWD car as opposed to a FWD car? I tried a doughnut the other day in an empty parking lot and it feels like a FWD car to me while attempting to go in circles.

On a side note, is there any way to fishtail a Talon around a corner from a stop? I don't feel like drifting around the corners, but under quick acceleration it is always fun to swing the ass around. Super easy in a pickup, but I can't get it to work with the Talon.

Basically the car always feels like it is understeering during either of those moves. Better tires perhaps?

It's been covered quite a few times (a search would yield answers). There is an even 50/50 split with power being biased towards the wheels with grip if traction is lost. There is a 35/65 front to rear biased differential which can be installed to bias power to the rear.

Proper suspension setups can give a more RWD like feel. Oversteer can be induced, but breaking only the rear tires loose from a stop will be difficult.

*edit* And Quasimondo beats me to it!

You'll hear lots of things before you're dead. Most of them will be incorrect, wrong, or outright lies.
Is this true?
No. Yet again.

No.

Keep trying, and you will feel like a DSM repair specialist.

Now you're edging into street racing. You know where those threads go.

That might be a start.

A famous man once said "Its not how you drive your car, Its how you race your car."

I love how a couple of you have jumped to conclusions and that is fine, it just goes to show you how ignorant you are.

Thank you to the first 3 posters as well as tony, these are all informative answers. To those who posted otherwise; I believe these are the types of comments that the moderating system on the board is trying to prevent (RE: Before You Reply, #2).

also do you have a 4 bolt rear? if so than you have limited slip in the back only.
What are you trying to say? None of the cars came with limited slip in the front. They all came with a viscous coupler on the center diff. Some three bolt and four bolt rear diffs came with a viscous limited slip in the rear.
