92-94 fwd turbo tranny in a 90-91

Hey in another thread i stated that i needed to get a new tranny. now i am wondering if i can put a 92-94 fwd turbo tranny in a 90-91 fwd turbo? I heard mitsu changed them a little bit. thanks in advance Zach

it will bolt in,but you have to change the linkage arms on the tranny OR the shifter assembly.

hey i was reading some more on here and they said something about 90 are different spline (axles)? and 91 are the same as 92-94? I'm so lost

well the 91 tranny is the same as 92-94.and i have axles from a 90 in mine,so i dont think theyre different.the awds are different though,some have more splines on the transfer case,22 and 23 i think.but that doesnt apply to fwd.
