What's goin on. Have a 91 tsi awd and once maybe twice a day after driving it when I pull up to a red light or stop the car it will just turn off. It starts right back up with no prombles. Befor it shuts off the idle goes up and down around 300-1000 befor shutting off. Any thoughts search the forums but got different answers

Check the idle air screw in the throttle body. There is a rubber that may be worn out that you can quickly replace. Also just go through the car and check all vacuum lines and make sure there are no leaks or worn out lines.

Thanks I checked all the vacuum lines and two was no good. Idles fine now once I change them.
