Okay all, I have a 1990 Eclipse GS-T. I'm not sure if this wiring is particular to the '90 models or not, but any help would be GREATLY apprecaited...
In the wire loom that heads towards the POS connection on the starter there are two other wires that stick out of that loom just before the starter. One I believe goes to a sensor plug on the top of the transmission. The other is a black wire with a red/orange stripe that sticks out about 3 inches. On the end of that wire (which is a rather thick wire) there is just a circle connector. I have NO CLUE where this connector goes. Whenever I hook up the battery, there is a horrible buzzing going on (except when I press in the clutch). The only way to correct this buzzing thus far has been to hook that little wire up to the NEG terminal on the starter, but I know that this isn't where that wire is supposed to go since that means the transmission sensor wire will no longer reach.
Thanks for the help guys!
