90 Talon tsi wont idle

i got a problem. one of my buddys has a 90 tsi that will run perfect but the minute it idles, it dies. i cant seem to find the problem. this car is for sale and i am thinking about buying it. now its a 90 tsi with 130k on the body but with all new shafts, pulleys and pistons. he is askin 2500 for it. i think its too much with that problem and all but can i have some suggestions and help with the problem. thanks

Most likely cause is a bad ISC. Check the ISC coil resistances to determine if this is the problem.
