the kit in mind would be a bmx type made only for 90-91 eclipse. Would this fit on a 92 withoult popup lights with little to no modification. This bumper is really the only bumper I like for the 1g. The drift is ok and well as the combat/ agessor type but they are way to low for a lowerer car and daily driver. Plus I only want to do the front bumper I was looking, and the bmx type looks good with everything, sides.,back, stock. The other two look to much to have just in the front. They would be need to be all around. I know that anything is possable but it needs to be practical. My frontmount has top to bottom tanks so it is not very wide and looks ishty in the stock super wide mouth front end "cracked to" with no fogs. The stock talon bumper could be a choice to because of the smaller opening in the front but I really like the bmx if it could fit without severy mods.

The bumper is here.http://www.importfan.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=104_220_223&products_id=1954

yea i was actually wondering that too... if its a problem to do then im gonna swap my eclipse front bumper for a talon front bumper..

You'd have to fabricate something to fit between the headlights, most likely though you could just remove the center part off of your stock bumper and then glass that to the new piece.

so the 90-91 is relativly the same exept the peice between the headlights is seperate. If so,meaning the peice between the lights is seperate, could I find this peice at a junkyard and put it between my 92 lights? I am sure the bolting locations for this peice would be close to the same.

90-91 are the same and are removable, the 92-94 are all part of the front bumper.

thanks 4 your help, guess the bmx is the direction I will be going in then. :thumb:

you shouldn't have really any problems, I did the reverse of what your doing, i put a 92-94 body kit on a 90, switch too 92 fenders, got the 92 corner and headlights also the hood.. only problem i've ran into was the lights.. the plugs are not the same so im guessing i will have to splice.. just remember custom comes 1 sawzal blade at a time good luck with your project! :dsm:
