86.5mm manley turbo pistons

i have 86.5mm manley turbo pistons are these decent pistons or complete junk?

What's the part number on the ones that you have?

If you plan on running 2.4L setup, they could be useful. But you won't be able to run them in a stock 2.0L setup.

Well heres the thing they are already in the car and i drive it daily i believe they bored it out to make them fit i because i dont think they would have fit if they didnt. and i dont know the sereal number why do 6you ask? also i have the 2.0L turbo

So if that's true, they bored your block .060" over, which is really darn big.

He might want the part number to verify that you do have the pistons you think you have.

hey guys, they are actually only 86mm sorry the wrong info. i am also curious what kind of horse power can stock connecting rods hold?

The records like 680, so plenty. Always a safe bet to use a better connecting rod over factory if you want to make a load of power.

made 520hp to the wheels on stock rods with arp bolts and manley uncoated pistons here.

i use manley on almost all of my builts

just had my block bored 40 over which is 86 mm . you shouldn't have any problems running those pistons

I believe the op has a 7 bolt, what the record for the 6 bolt motor is irrelevant.

OP, the stock 7 bolt has been taken to low 10s. Thats about the fastest i know of.

The 7bolt record is much higher than that.. Its in the 600's. I know for a fact there are a few evo's in the 600's.

Edit: Highest i can find is 551fwhp in a dsm.

Evos don't count . May people say the limit of the 7 bolt (dsm) rods is about 500hp. But i know for sure theres a low 10 second 7 bolt DSM.

86mm is fine. The 4g64 is bored to 86.5mm from the factory.
