im no where new to the DSM world or this site for that matter, been on here for years, but im gonna try to make this with my dsm. just got her running real well along with some new shoes. i know ive never met anyone on here but hey theres a first time for everything. ill most likely be in the "slower" "chill" group.

There's an albertson on woodside and massachusete and there's a coofee shop in the same plaza with big parking lot. Why not in san jose? just a Q? so no back tracking, or are we gonna take woodside rd too? can't wait :thumb:

hmm albertsons could work there is also chucks doughnuts by the safeway there. Ill go check it out this weekend and see what's up. As for meeting in san jose, since we are taking woodside road to start the cruise I would rather not have to meet up then cruise to woodside raod and then start the cruise. Once you pass 280 on woodside road it turns into 84 which is the first part of our cruise.

Awesome! I'll be there as my first meet back in the States and I'll try to convince some Non-DSM friends, if that's cool. I'll also be in the "chill" group. Now I'm excited to get back home!

haha non dsm's are fine just as long as noone gets out of control when we are in heavily crowded areas. I.E.- the parking lot of the meet spot or the roads surrounding the schools that we pass etc... Once we are up in the mountains if eveyone wants to stop for some fun and film tkae pics then its more than welcome.

hey, if I go I'm bringing my stock camaro :D . Yea so don't try to ditch me thinking i'm some crazy lady, haha. My car has issues and the other 2 are parted out too much to fix.
 
alright you guys the meeting spot for the mourning is going to be the albertsons parking lot on woodside road and massachusets. I will be at the meet spot at 8am and I will be leaving with whoever is with me at 830am no exceptions.

Here are the directions to te meet spot. 101n/s take woodside road west. Keep folowing woodside road untill you hit a rather larger intersection with the cross street massachusets. The albertsons will be on your right hand side.

from 280n/s take woodside road east. Continue on woodside road till you hit the large intersection with massachusets as the cross streeet and the albersons will be on your left hand side. Hope to see you all there.

haha its cool sat. Aug. 20th we will be meetinat albertsons on woodside road and massachusets between 8-8:30 am then we will start the cruise.
 
Alright y'all off to misery(MO the state) the see the "inlaws" for a week so I won't be able to check the net hope to see you all at the meet when I get back. Anyone that doesn't show up will be personally haunted by me so watch out :mad: ROFL

Hi,

I'm in the Bay Area and own a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion, the eclipse's predecessor. The car is technically a DSM since it was built for both Mitsubishi (Starion) and Dodge / Chrysler (Conquest).

I was wondering if it would be cool to get together with you guys since there isn't a Starion dedicated meet around here that I know of (a lot more on the East coast from what I hear).

I love the Mitsubishi Eclipse 2nd Gen and it was next on my list, but I really wanted a RWD car, so the Starion took precedence (and I like the 80's style boxy look).

Anyway, let me know.

HELL YEAH you're invited!! :thumb: Did you buy it off of craigslist.org? I saw a black one on there recently. It looked real nice!
 
I did get it off of craigslist, but it was posted for only a couple of hours before I snatched it. A real deal, 67,000 miles from second owner. I wanted a black one originally, but I could not let this one pass by (it's red).

Anyway, I look forward to the meet and will see you guys there. I'll be with the "chill" group since I am still getting the hang of the car and my rear tires need to be replaced.

By the way, are there any other Starion / Conquest owners in your group? on this forum?
